Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Strategy

Shelly SchoenfeldShelley brings more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience with her to The DavidHenry Agency, and is responsible for the agency's new business development and corporate strategy.

 

Shelley's career encompasses healthcare marketing for hospitals and health systems across the country, on and off-line promotion of consumer healthcare information, promotional and continuing education activity development for physicians, nurses and pharmacists, domestic and international meeting and event planning on behalf of pharmaceutical companies as well as within the public sector, and executive recruiting.

 

Immediately prior to joining DHA, Shelley spent nine years in various roles with Physicians Practice, a division of UBM Medica.  As Hospital Relations Strategist, Shelley developed, implemented, and measured marketing and outreach initiatives for academic medical centers, health systems, community hospitals, and physician groups nationwide.  Partners with whom Shelley worked include the University of Virginia Health System, Medical University of South Carolina, The Ohio State University Medical Center, NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, Lourdes Health System (NJ), Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network (PA), and Saint Mary's Hospital (CT). As Director of Client Relations for Physicians Practice, Shelley's initial role within the organization, her responsibilities included strategic planning, establishment of all departmental policies and procedures, department staffing, and managing relationships and deliverables for all hospital, pharmaceutical and business to business partners of the organization.

 

Shelley is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a BS in corporate communications, where she maintains an active role as an alumni ambassador, orienting incoming students to the university. Shelley also serves as a Senior Scholar for Jefferson Medical College, Department of Healthcare Policy.
